Des woke up after a night of celebrating married to her best friend. The question becomes, do they continue to explore the possibilities or go back to being just friends. For Trace, there was nothing to consider.

I absolutely loved this friends to lovers 💎💎💎💎💎novella by @beingmrsjones. It was spicy, entertaining and thought provoking. I also loved the way the other characters were weaved in and out of the story. I’m looking forward to the final installment.

Khalin has been hired to investigate the possible kidnapping that goes back 30 years. He is also led to believe that his biological mother is also a member of the Black Women Separatists. What he discovers is so much more.

This 💎💎💎💎💎 book by @authordesiree played across the screen, reminding one of The Handmaids Tale. I was completely blown away by the fact that the cult had members from all areas of life, and the ideologies that they instilled in them. I was left wanting to know more about Raven, Desmond, Seraí, Khalin, Stacie (and her husbands), Princess and Erin.

I’m about to go in on this catalog!

Based in Atlanta, this book focuses on the life of four main characters …Victoria, a seasoned woman in her sixties, is living a double life, one of a kept woman and the other as a cougar. Jordan is a professional woman who is just trying to find love. Chancelor seems to have the worst luck when it comes to finding love and the the most controversial of them all is Kingston. He’s also living a double life, that may just end up costing him his life. These four friends have decided to give online dating a try. What a mess!

This book by @celebhoneyb tugged on many of my emotions. At times it was humorous (Pastor Baloney), other time it was too far fetched (the spells and where they were administered) and last, my sympathy. The numerous social issues that were addressed were very moving. I never considered sex trafficking from this angle. That was very enlightening. Overall I would give this one 💎💎💎💎.
